Disabling DHCP/DDNS/BINL Services

  • The services can either be installed or not installed. IBM's uninstaller program doesn't work with eCS 2.0 RC1 and firefox. To manually disable starting the services:
    • Run a text editor.
    • Open the file C:\TCPIP\bin\TCPSTART.CMD
    • Find the lines that start the services.
    • Add REM in front of the lines.
