Clearing out "default connections" list

  • Go to a command prompt
  • Run "gconf-editor"
  • Go to System->Networking->Wireless->Networks (left pane)
  • Click on each Wireless Network's "folder" (left pane)
  • Right click on each key in the folder and choose "unset key" (right pane)
  • Repeat for each network you don't want to auto-join
  • Quit gconf-editor

gconf will soon update your config to remove the "folders" for the unset networks
